about

Prior to signing with Warner/Reprise in 1995 with my band Love In Reverse, I recorded several volumes of music under the moniker of DOG. During that period (1988-1995), I experimented with the then emerging electronic goodies available including various sampling synthesizers, vintage Moog synths and drum machines. "Malleus Maleficarum" represents some of the darkest music of that period influenced by British glam and goth, early Krautrock and American avant-garde/new wave. The album was originally released in 2001 in limited CD editions independently.

Bedtime for Robots, an exploration into the dark depths of analog and digital electronic music, has been the bastard child of Michael Ferentino since 2001. Inspired by a multitude of influences ranging from horror film soundtracks and 70s prog rock to the exotic sounds of 1950s/1960s exotica pioneers, Martin Denny and Les Baxter. ... more
